Are you in a hurry? Here's a basic rundown:
Canva Pro, in my opinion, is not a replacement for advanced photo and video editing tools.
For designers that prefer to create things from scratch, templates can be more of a stumbling block than a platform to go with an idea.
Furthermore, I found the video animation possibilities restricted and missing some of the tools I would have chosen to make my presentations and intros more intriguing.
I didn't have the same level of control as when I used other specialist video and photo editing programmes.
However, Canva Pro is not intended to be a replacement for more powerful video programmes.
It is also not intended to be a replacement for photo editing software such as Lightroom, Photoshop, or CaptureOne.
It is no match for Photoshop, which provides far more control for a professional who prefers to start with a blank canvas rather than elements that have already been pre-filled for her.
This tool should only appeal to users who want to produce their own marketing and promotional materials and do not want to hire a professional to do it for them.
It is also appropriate for professionals who primarily work with Instagram, Facebook, posters, and other forms of creative media.
Intro
This will be a fascinating read for those of you who are already familiar with the Canva software.
Today we will look at the Canva Pro.
And, while we're at it, we'll try to discover solutions to some of the most common queries that every user has when confronted with new design software.
We'll discover the answers to queries like, "Is Canva Pro worth the money?"
What are the benefits of Canva Pro, and is the software suited for pros to try?
But, before we get into those questions, let me explain Canva Pro to those who are already familiar with the software as well as others who are seeing it for the first time.
What is Canva Pro?
Canva Pro is intended for users with no prior design experience.
It's a graphic design tool and a time-saving tool rolled into one for anyone who needs something professionally made but would ordinarily outsource the entire process.
Instead, with Canva Pro, you can now finish your creative needs on your own in record time.
The best part is that you don't need any prior understanding of design or design software to utilise Canva Pro.
This is for those like me who are complete beginners when it comes to software design.
What Does Canva Pro Offer?
Canva Pro is a collection of design templates, premium stock pictures, fonts, backdrops, and file management systems that anyone with a basic understanding of computers can use.
You receive over 420,000 premium templates to pick from, as well as 75+ million high-quality stock photos, movies, audios, and graphics, as well as 3000+ premium fonts, backgrounds, and other assets for your next project.
As if that wasn't enough, you also receive a powerful file management tool that allows you to create an endless number of folders to manage your projects, a design resizing tool, and a slew of other features that I can't possibly mention here.
Sounds intriguing, right?
Just bear in mind that all of this is only available with the paid edition of the software (the premium version), as the free version is not as generous.
You can still perform some intriguing things with the free version, but the paid version has far too many extras that you should ignore.
Is Canva Pro Worth the Money?
If you are a one-man show trying to make a name for yourself in the internet business world, you will appreciate Canva Pro's no-nonsense attitude.
It is really simple to use, which is the single most crucial feature for me.
I usually like software with the shortest learning curve for someone like me who is juggling too many things at once.
I feel that a piece of software is only as good as its user interface.
If the UI necessitates a lengthy learning curve, such as Photoshop, it is not suitable for someone like myself.
I'm not dismissing Photoshop's power here; I'm simply arguing that it's not for those like me who don't have the time to master it.
Users like me require speedier solutions.
As a solo entrepreneur, we require something that allows us to quickly give our ideas tangible form.
I was sceptical when I first started using Canva Pro.
I expected it to take me a long time to figure out how to work with the templates, how to work with the elements and backdrops, how to input audio and animate the slides, and so on.
However, once you get the hang of it, it is quite simple.
Now that I've used it, I can say that it doesn't take more than 5 minutes to acquire your bearings and then start enjoying the creative process.
How Much is Canva Pro and Is It Worth It?
Canva Pro isn't particularly expensive.
They provide both monthly and yearly subscriptions. This is, indeed, a subscription model.
Unfortunately, there is no stand-alone alternative in which you pay once and enjoy for eternity.
And this brings up the most pertinent question. Is it worthwhile?
I'm sorry to report that this is not an easy question for me to answer.
It all depends on you and the type of work you do, as well as if Canva Pro fits into the overall cycle.
If you are just going to produce creatives on a regular basis, such as once every couple of months, you are probably better off outsourcing the work to a designer on Fiverr or Upwork, who will charge much less than the yearly subscription price.
Canva Pro, on the other hand, makes a lot of sense if your entire marketing strategy is based on social media and other electronic platforms and you don't want to outsource your design work at this stage.
It also makes sense for someone who works as a designer and wants to have a secondary design software that helps her to create simpler marketing and promotional creatives more quickly.
Canva Pro is a time saving for her and a much-needed addition to the full set of programmes she employs.
Furthermore, there are additional benefits to using the service.
Assume you require stock photographs on a regular basis for the design of your marketing materials and creatives, and you pay for them separately.
Canva Pro includes 75+Million images, videos, graphics, and audio files at no additional cost.
That is, you are getting two services for the price of one.
What are the Advantages of Canva Pro?
The single most significant advantage of Canva Pro is that it takes very little time to produce a creative.
It is quick and simple to get from conceptualisation to first draught completion.
The sheer amount of template options simplifies the initial base design process.
Most of the time, you just wind up altering the images, colours, and text, and sure, perhaps the font and your final design are ready.
Another significant benefit of Canva Pro, which only enterprise users will have access to, is the team option.
You can send invitations to your team members using their email addresses.
They can then collaborate on active projects, save their work, and review it after they've logged in.
In situations like this, a built-in team collaboration tool is a terrific feature that doesn't cost you anything extra.
Yes, an individual user can utilise this tool, however it is useless unless you operate in a team and are working on numerous projects at the same time.
I really like the Magic Resize feature. This tool is a godsend for anyone who isn't always aware of the actual size of the creativity.
